The basic of HS Copy Services was established in 1987, but even before that, our founder was working as a technician in Penang servicing typewriters and office equipment. With the wealth of experience he amassed during these early years, he saw the opportunity to enter the photocopy services industry.

It may be hard to imagine this now, but before the wide availability of computers, the photocopy industry was still very much in its infancy. The original pieces of equipment were large, bulky, and required technical understanding and servicing to keep them running. Seeing this as the opportunity, our founder gathered a small start-up capital and together with a partner, operated a small photocopying services business in Bukit Mertajam.

After soon years, and with new experience gathered, our founder then returned to his hometown of Bagan Serai to establish the foundations for what would become HS Copy Service as we know it today. As of 2018, HS Copy Service is now refreshed with new, more complete services that include print management and security, scanning solution, and mobile software copier solution to cater to increasing digitalized needs.
